Shikamaru and his sensei, Asuma, stood on one of the huge hills outside of the village. They always enjoyed watching the sun set together. Asuma blew one last puff of smoke out of his mouth and dropped his cigarette on the ground. "That's the last one. It's time to give it up." Shikamaru turned his head towards his teacher, "Are you sure you wanna quit smoking?" Asuma nodded and smiled, still focused on the setting sun, "Yeah, I'm positive. I have to look good for Kurenai. I can't set a good example with a dirty habit like smoking." "Well, as long as you know what you want. Hey Asuma sensei, want to go get some ramen?" Asuma licked his lips as he thought about how delicious the ramen would be, "Mm, yeah, that sounds good."
After a short walk, Shikamaru and Asuma arrived at Ichiraku Ramen and took two of the seats. Teuchi, the owner, quickly brought them each a bowl of ramen. Shikamaru took a quick glance to his left and noticed Asuma was nearly finished with his ramen, whereas he hadn't even started yet. By the time he had stopped staring, Asuma had already finished and was ordering his second bowl. Before Shikamaru realized it, Asuma was already ordering his sixth and seventh bowls, "Wow Asuma sensei, don't eat too much." Asuma chuckled and gave a quick smile in between swallowing and shoving more ramen in his mouth and actually managed to form a complete sentence, despite all of the ramen stuffed in his mouth, "I'll be fine, but I don't know why I feel like I'm starving."
Shikamaru had finished eating a while ago, but waited for Asuma to finish his buffet. Shikamaru just had stared in awe for most of Asuma's feast. Even though he had lost count a while ago, Shikamaru was pretty sure Asuma was on his twenty-third or fourth bowl. Even though Shikamaru wasn't trying to stare, he noticed a slight bulge protruding from Asuma's stomach. "Was that there before?" He thought to himself. "Ahh, delicious." Asuma slapped his new, slightly larger belly and smiled. Shikamaru smiled too, "Ready to go Asuma sensei?" "Yeah, let's get going. I need to get some rest." Asuma slid off of his chair and stumbled a little bit when his feet first touched the ground, but he managed to regain himself and stand up. "I'll see you later Shikamaru." Asuma walked away slowly at first but gradually picked up his pace as he adjusted to his new stomach. "Wow," was all Shikamaru could think of as his mentor walked away.
Asuma awoke to the sound of pounding. He slowly opened his right eye, and then his left. He heard the pounding sound again, this time a bit louder, "Someone at the door?" He thought. Asuma turned over and sat up on the side of his bed. He stood up and stretched, the cold morning air blowing against his shirtless body, not that he minded. He slowly made his way to the front of his house, moving out of his bedroom and into the hallway. As he made walked through the hallway, he glanced into his kitchen, which was filled with food and trash all over the floor, counters, and table. "Did I do that? Come to think of it, I don't remember coming home last night." Asuma slowed his movement, and looked down at his belly, which was now larger then he remembered. It bounced slightly as he stopped, and it would probably be noticeable if he tried to put on his jacket and clothes, but it was too early for his thoughts to be clear. He heard the pounding again and suddenly remembered why he had woken up. "I'm coming." He walked up and opened his front door and was greeted by a smile and medium sized box. "Hey Naruto." "Hey Asuma sensei. I was wondering if you wanted some food. Kakashi sensei said I have to eat better to become a better ninja and told me I needed to get rid of all of the ramen and meat I had, and I thought you'd like it." After Naruto had finished speaking, Asuma realized how hungry he was, and gladly accepted the food Naruto had brought. "Thanks Naruto, I'll be sure to finish it all." Naruto, being as oblivious as he was hadn't noticed Asuma's new shape, and quickly waved and said goodbye. Asuma closed the door when Naruto walked away; "Let's eat."

Prelude Part 2
======================
Over the next month, the small Umino clan and the small Namikaze-Uzumaki clan started to spend a lot more time together and became much closer friends. They visited each other at their houses in a loop where the families would take turns visiting each other every other week, except for Kushina due to her pregnancy and overused muscles unless her husband carried her and she wouldn't have that.
Minato continued to spend time with Shin until the two of them became secret drinking buddies and often spend whatever time they had without their families or at work at the local bars and

Iruka slowly walked to the kitchen, eager to stuff his face with as many hotcakes (as he liked to call them) as he could cook. He could never recall being so famished before as he soon started fantasizing about eating a dozen whole sticks of butter. But as he rubbed his flat stomach and walked down the hall, he soon heard voices coming from the kitchen. He then remembered Rin and Kakashi had stayed the night after the terrifying incident last night and it sounded like the new couple was having a serious conversation about their relationship. Iruka hid behind the wall, u

Heavier Circumstances: Iruka and Kakashi are FAT
Kakashi and Iruka lived much closer to each other ever since the masked sumo-nin moved.
Kakashi "God of Thunder" Hatake had decided to move into one of the other much larger apartments in the new sumo-district so that it was easier for him to live more comfortably to fit his new lifestyle, and so that he could mooch off of Iruka's food more often. Sure, he was being a dick to steal food from his friends, but Kakashi couldn't help it when it came to his friend's stash of food. There was a special sort of pleasure that came out of raiding Iruka's refrigerator as Kakashi leaned down and shook his fat butt in the air while he searched for delici
